We've teased you all week long about the fun stuff we have in store for you beginning in October, and here it is!
This is our very first Rusty Pickle Blog Challenge! This month we challenge you to create an altered item using any of our Halloween papers (old or new, we don't care!). Projects will be due no later than NOON on October 15th.
We will continue to hold these Challenges every month, so if you just aren't feelin' scrappy one month, there's always the next! Some rules on how the blog challenge will be run:
- On the first of every month, we will announce our Challenge to you! We'll mix it up- sometimes your project will have to be altered, sometimes it'll be a sketch- you get the idea! All projects must be 80% Picklelicious! Need to replenish your stock of RP? Check out the links to the left on where you can load up on Pickle goods!
- To enter, you must leave a comment within the ORIGINAL CHALLENGE POST and include a link to your awesome creation! YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO EMAIL YOUR PROJECT TO [email protected]
- All entries will be due the first Monday after the 15th. This will give you approximately TWO WHOLE WEEKS to finish your project!
- The RP Chefs will vote on the winner, to be announced on the coming Friday. The lucky artist will win a fabulous Rusty Pickle Prize Pack!
The Chefs really wanted to get in on all of the fun, so we'll be playing along ourselves! We're going to be posting our own projects on the blog too, to give you a bit of inspiration! Every blog needs fresh eye candy, right?! We hope you'll join in on the Challenge this month! Oh and by the way, every project that is entered automatically makes it to the Public Gallery (coming soon!), right here on the Rusty Pickle blog!
Ohhh! off to the LSS for supplies! feeling scrapy this month so this should be a nice break from my LO's !

Oh how cool! I have a hard time getting RP at my lss, so I will go to one of the links you so nicely provided. I just finished doing an RP mini-album for a contest on one of my favorite on-line sites, and in the process I have become addicted to RP! Can't wait to go alter something!

This is seriously the best blog, IMO, I visit daily. Such fun to come on & see what RP has in store for us blog followers. And I think I *will* send in my album cover I used in a CKU contest earlier this year that's all Rusty Pickle paper.
Off to do so now!

Just looking at some of the sample Halloween altered items and I am sure that I couldn't do anything justifiable. Plus I just realized that I do not have any Rusty Pickle Halloween pp. Off to double check again as I thought for sure I did. I absolutely love RP and your blogs
