September Sketch Challenge!

Carry laughter with you wherever you go.  ~ Hugh Sidey

What a great quote this is!!  I don't know about you but laughing just really is good for the soul.  This months challenge is all about laughter and having fun!

We challenge you to use the sketch and Candy Land papers to scrap a picture, poem or joke! Not only will the Chefs vote on your awesome work but on which one makes us laugh out loud!  And don't worry if you haven't any Candy Land papers,choose your favourite Rusty Pickle papers to create your layout!

For your info:

• use Candy Land papers or your favourite collections of Rusty Pickle patterned paper
• project must contain 80% of Rusty Pickle product
• One entry per person
• please post a link in the comments and email your entry to [email protected] putting September Sketch as your subject
• entires are due by 25 September 2009 12:00 midnight MST
• The chefs will vote on the winner and they will receive a fantastic prize pack from Rusty Pickle

Rusty Pickle is off to CKC in Nashville, Tennessee!!

Rusty Pickle will be at Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Convention in Nashville, Tennessee on September 11-12, 2009. CKC Nashville will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. Two full days of scrapbook fun - what more could you want!

Our Rusty Pickle Booth will have our show exclusive Tee-shirts, Grab Bags, Paper Packs and tons more to satisfy your Picklelicious needs. Rusty Pickle will be offering 4  fabulous classes Friday and Saturday.  We will have tons of your favorite rustic essentials in our booth, so stop by Rusty Pickle to find check them all out!

August Sketch WINNER!

From looking through all the fabby sketch entries we can see that we all love a day at the beach or in the park!  Thank you to all who entered the competition and submitted such amazing projects for the chefs to look through.  You can see them all in the {Public Gallery} for yourselves.

The votes are in and have been counted and this months winner is Amy White with her layout!  We love the way she has mixed paper and used a large photo of the swing as part of the background!
